Check Your Coverage & Book Explore ServicesHello, I'm Heidi
I'm a licensed professional counselor specializing in oncology support, grief and loss, chronic illness, and caregiver support across Pennsylvania. As a two-time cancer survivor myself, I bring both clinical training and lived experience to this work.
Before opening my private practice, I spent years counseling individuals and families at a community cancer support organization, walking alongside people through diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, recurrence, and loss. That work shaped how I practice: honestly, at your pace, and without pretending hard things aren't hard.
I am a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS), with advanced training in supporting people through loss in all its forms.
All sessions are held via secure telehealth, so you can meet with me from anywhere in Pennsylvania.
How I Can Help
Oncology & Cancer Support
Support through diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, or recurrence, including the emotional weight that doesn't always get talked about, like scanxiety, identity shifts, and fear of the future.
Grief & Loss
Support through the loss of a loved one, anticipatory grief, and grief that doesn't fit a timeline, including grief that resurfaces years later.
Chronic Illness
Support for living with chronic pain or chronic illness, including the toll it takes on daily life, relationships, and identity, beyond just symptom management.
Caregiver Support
Support for those caring for someone through illness, whether that's a loved one at home or the patients you care for professionally. Space for family caregivers, nurses, and healthcare workers to process the exhaustion, grief, and compassion fatigue that often go unspoken.
My Approach
I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and a person-centered style, meaning we go at your pace, and the goal isn't to "fix" how you feel, but to help you build a life that still feels like yours, even in the middle of hard things.
